I bought a bottom-of-the-line model two years ago on black Friday, and grew to use it so often I wished I'd gotten better specs. I'm very glad I upgraded; the extra ram and storage on this are nice, as is the touchscreen that I wasn't even sure I'd use (turns out it is handy to have). I use this as a travel device and bedside browsing/Netflix machine. I still use my 15.6" Windows laptop as my main computer, but I like having a Chromebook for convenience and portability. I purchased it at the 2018 Black Friday price of $179.

Very impressed w what she can do on it and how well the performance and battery life is. Even the keyboard has a good feel to it and I am used to a MacBook so picky about that. She uses it to do presentations in school, has learned to type and of course watches movies. Being able to flip the screen around to watch movies in the car is great. You are also able to watch offline Netflix shows. For the 250 sale price I am extremely pleased with it.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Interestingly enough, I was not well versed with Chromebooks and the Chrome OS, but I immediately fell in love with how simple it was to use, how quickly I adapted to the keyboard and touch screen interface, and how little it cost me to own. It's also very light. Just a little over 2 pounds making it extremely portable. In addition to the simplicity, being able to utilize the google play store from the device is a huge benefit; yes I mean I can play android games on this thing! At the $200 price point, this will not disappoint.

They have an outstanding search engine, email service, document service, photo storage service, they have everything! If you have a google account and you take full advantage of everything that it does for you (Photos, email, google docs, ect.) this is the laptop for you. It works great, it's affordable and has everything you will ever need for school. My brother bought this for his schooling and he says he would be lost without it. Next time I'm buying myself one!
