My doctoral candidate son and my 6 year old granddaughter use it differently. I use it for comparison shopping at home centers. My other son carries it to his various work sites due to its easy portability. Recent price drops have made this a go to back to school item. We all love it.

Between phone and laptop

Mostly to see if it would work in my day to day routine. I've really kind of taken to it. The OS is super fast, hardware is solid and for the most common and basic tasks it is all there. Email, social media, basic office tasks, etc. Way better for replying to email than my phone. Plus being a 2-in-1 you can fold the keyboard under and use it in tablet mode. Pretty fair job albeit a bit thick compared to my regular tablet. Keyboard/touchpad and both well designed and feel natural to use. Not a huge fan of the chiclet keys, but that is the way the industry is going. I've used worse. Screen is very nice but not necessarily cutting edge. It works, it's nice. Cons? Not a whole lot to complain about, but there is one thing that I really don't like. Lack of useful ports. Only 1 USB-C port and 1 USB3.0 port. (I'm ignoring the HDMI port right now.) I know that Chrome OS is really designed to be web based. That's fine, no problem. But if I want to charge the device (using the USB-C port) I only have a single USB port to use for drives or devices. Probably just me needing to change my mindset towards storage. Overall, it is great. Could it use more storage? Sure, maybe some. Could it have a nice, high-end display? Sure, maybe. Maybe be thinner and lighter? Okay. But for under $300 you would be hard pressed to get all of that. Good job, Lenovo. Another very good product.

My first Chromebook and I am pleased with it.

So far I am very pleased with it's performance. After working with Windows for so many years there is a bit of a learning curve to the Chrome OS, but if you have had experience with computers and a Android tablet or phone, you will catch on quickly.

Wasn’t entirely sure what I was getting as it was my first Chromebook. It is very fast and works great with class, fast WiFi, all docs and info saved automatically. You can’t beat the price.

Great Chrome book

When I went into Best Buy I had no idea if I wanted a desktop or a laptop, but after speaking with the Google rep I made the decision to get this chrome book and it has been a great investment. I was initially scared of the touch screen and folding but it has been a great convenience.
