This is a light-weight but sturdy machine. We love Chromebooks, and, since she'll be using Google Docs, it makes more sense to get her this instead of a traditional laptop. She loves it. We love it. Screen is not the best (expected at this price tag) but much better than the super entry level and also touchscreen which is a real plus. One of the other advantage is the USB-C charging port. Which means you can also use the charger for your other compatible appliances.

Appears that this works as well as the higher priced chrome books. So far there are only a couple of android apps not compatible. It is great. Starts up and shuts down quickly. I have streamed and printed with no issues. I am very happy with mine

It runs great, he can get on the internet and watch videos with no problems. He was able to download games directly from google play store and loves having the touchscreen. So far this was a great buy.

You get a machine with all the necessary ports and its a touch screen. Unless your looking for the most bare bone option for under $100, I think this has everything you need at the lowest cost. I also got a silicon keyboard cover in fun colors so that our kids can personalize it.
