I purchased it to become an electronic planner for use in my Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints calling. The note taking programs work best with a stylus - I contacted Lenovo to purchase a smart pen to use with my Chromebook. Unfortunately they have not, nor our planning to develop a smart pen for their Chromebook. They have lots of smart pens for their expensive laptops but none for their Chromebook. Thus the 4 star rating from me. The Chromebook is excellent and I highly recommend it. I do not recommend Lenovo, nor their customer service, nor their descriptions and advertising for their products.
