Would recommend this with the caution that the notebook has more power demands on it than the Celeron can manage quickly. Used a non-touch simple laptop notebook, a LeNovo Idea Pad with an Intel Atom and the emmc. Fast as expected & very light in processing. Because I thought that the smaller Red top Ideapad Lenovo notebook worked quickly and well, I assumed the newer 2 in 1 with the Celeron would also. I was wrong. The 64gb expanded flash memory is good; the touch and flip hinge (360)were desired, but the speed was actually slower in use. The AC WiFi Dual-band was also a plus reason to buy. The color like a light grey metal with a black lid appealed. So did the additional ports, and the internal Dolby Sound free enhancement feature option appeal. The first sign on though is set to impede MSN registration without an open WiFi network - this includes getting a first hand use at a necessary security MAC number. So try it with a less secure more open WiFi network. The follow up MSN re-registration by MSN email account is barred by a shadow double user effect seen registering the same simple Window account. Lastly, the Comcast Xfinity TV streaming would balk and not register the 2 in 1 as a device at that portal when using Windows 10 Edge browser. If still buying, it did properly register an XFINITY user device - tv.xfinity.com - when the Google Chrome browser was downloaded and tried with that streaming service. Still recommended but with those qualifications. A heavier device and strong good keyboard. Fast tablet to notebook & return as Windows 10 provides. Also prefer a 64b architecture.

It’s a great starter laptop for my son to get his school work done and do other things he likes. Like the fact that it folds to be a tablet and is touchscreen.

Good deal for the price. Small and convenient for travel. Don't expect the processor to move too fast. Overall, it's a good buy if you need it for basic things.

For the money this is a solid product from Lenovo but like many devices it is far too under-powered for Windows 10 or Windows period. Of course if Windows is all you know or you don't want to learn then you have to deal with it but I removed Windows and installed my copy of Linux (Ubuntu Remix) and it runs like a champ and Ubuntu is far more stable than Windows and did I mention it is free ? and all you need to install it is a desktop computer with internet and a USB drive with at least 4GB memory and then download the distro of Linux, download Unetbootin and put the Linux onto the USB then when you reboot the Netbook go to BIOS using F2 and set it to boot from the USB and then install it.

It is a nice starter computer. Touch screen and tablet mode are cool features.
Video card could be stronger as it lags when processing 3D animations.
RAM memory cannot be upgraded which is not cool at all.

I purchased this as a gift, replacing a dated Asus eee that is used primarily during long stay vacations. I appreciate the ease of installation and better performance thanks to the SSD contrasted with the old machine. Although this Ideapad is slightly larger, it is lighter and thinner and much more appealing and with a larger keyboard. I think the primary user will be happy with her new touch pad / laptop.

I bought this small laptop for it's light weight and bigger screen than a phone. Easy to get around web pages with the bigger screen. It is not a high powered laptop and can run slow at times but it is a very good value.

If all you need is a compact notebook for email and office apps, this will do the job economically. Since my company runs all of our apps through Citrix XenDesktop, the entry level processor and 2GB of RAM are no big deal. Even off the corporate network, this unit is fine for email, web browsing, Office apps and streaming video off the internet. I like the fact that it has an ethernet jack in addition to WiFi and Bluetooth. The 64GB eMMC drive is plenty for me because all my files are in the cloud. While not as fast as a SSD, the eMMC drive performs better than a basic mechanical drive. The HDMI port is a plus, as I can stream video and play it on a big screen TV - no problem! It has a MMC card slot so if you need more storage, you can buy another 64GB card for around $25 and set Windows to move your apps to your additional storage. Keep in mind, with its limited RAM, processor and storage, any sort of PC gaming is strictly off limits. Stay within the limits and you'll be happy like I am.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 2 in 1 11.6" Laptop. Regarding Windows 10 updates, these should not slow the system down. You can check system health after a Windows 10 update. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

After updating windows and drivers, it works pretty good. It is a netbook, so CPU can't handle very much all at once. Good for note taking, web browsing, and undemanding applications. As long as you don't have too many things or aps running, it does it's job.
