The only thing that I have not totally liked is the touch pad. It takes some getting used to, but, it would not be a game changer.

You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Took it back, it was sent off to Lenovo repair shop, they couldn't repair it so I get a new one. We'll see if I get the same one, and if I do, hopefully it is reliable.

They moved the right shift key to an almost unusable spot. So if you are a touch typist you will HATE this machine! It's OK for a hunt and peck typist like me. The other thing you should be aware of is that the 256G SSD card is not user up gradable. Sure, you can add a SD card or an external HD. Overall, I like the box, I haven't used it as a tablet much, though. The Lenovo keyboard designer should be fired!

You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

What I expected except for shift key
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm happy with this laptop, just didn't realize the Shift key is off one key than usual, making it something new to learn when typing - causing frequent mistakes and needing to go back and delete to make letters uppercase. Also I was recording a video and maybe I deleted and re-recorded too many times, b/c the laptop just froze! And it's new! I'm not a computer-techy person by any means, so I'm happy with my purchase, just surprised by the above mentioned.

Concerning the system freezing after deleting a video, be sure before you start recording again, that the file you are deleting is completely finished with the delete process.

Better than Most Out There

It is a very nice laptop and it feels premium minus the trackpad not always registering clicks. Yes, the fan does run but I didn't find it annoying. It needs to cool off so let it do its thing. Overall its a pretty good laptop with little issues, I just needed a bit more power out of it.

Nice small bezel, speakers not great but not bad....could have been placed on top of keyboard like hp spectre x360.... screen seems nice, but not sure the 4k is necessary. I wanted to like this, but purchased open box and it was defective. Called Best Buy customer support, was told to return it to store and they would send an exchange. Store had difficulty arranging this, but after 45 mins told me it was sorted. Later got email saying order was cancelled....spent over an hour w/ Best Buy support trying to get another sent out, but call was disconnected and despite the fact that the agent confirmed my phone number and promised he would call back should we get disconnected, never heard from anyone at Best Buy again. Would love to get a properly functioning machine and also see Best Buy step up with their customer service.

Great Budget Laptop

The looks was what drew me to the Yoga and after I decide my "have to" specs. I chose the Lenovo 710 15. I couldn't be happier. It performs well for my application and the form and weight was exactly what I need. Only regret was the HD space 256G is just not sufficient any more. Definitely pick up an external.

Websites freeze up from time to time. Some issues with emails, links don't always work and some graphics don't always display. I reset the p/c a few times which fixes the problems for a day or two, then same issues happen.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 710-15. It sounds like your software issues may be incompatible programs. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.
WIFI is broken

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 710-15. This system has the latest version of WiFi with the 802.11AC frequency WiFi capability. WiFi 802.11AC is backward compatible to older versions of WiFi routers, but check to see if there are driver updates for your router. Additionally, you can check to see if your Yoga 710-15 has the latest Wireless LAN drivers. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:
