Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the superb screen quality, lightweight design, and impressive battery life of this 2-in-1 laptop. The fast SSD is also frequently praised, along with the laptop's ease of use. However, some users have noted concerns regarding the keyboard layout and fan noise. These issues, while mentioned, don't appear to overshadow the positive experiences reported by many customers.

First time using a 2-1 but I loved it. Worked great until a pink lined showed up on the screen a couple weeks after purchasing it. Trying to get it fixed/replaced right now.

With regard to the screen issues you mention with your device, there may be video driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

I was hesitant to buy the Yoga because I had a Lenovo Flex laptop and had problems with it from the start. But this laptop is great - fast and no problems. Love it!

I gave 4 of 5 stars because I wish: - it had an ethernet port (for configuring my router and extender) - it had USB type C - the screen was matte finish instead of glossy (I work outside a good bit, glare is terrible) Otherwise, the laptop is everything I'd read it to be. Yes, the keyboard is different than a standard keyboard, but should be expected on a laptop.

Quick powerful system. A lot of ram. The SSD is powerful. Could use a few more USB ports and a swappable battery, but still an awesome 2-n-1 for the price.

As many people have already said, the right shift key is too small and in a bad position. That said, you do eventually get used to it and learn to "reach" for it. I have found this computer to be super fast. With the SSD drive it comes up quickly and restarts quickly. The screen is clean and crisp. So far so good. I have not had the problem of the constantly running fan as some people have. I think like anything else there could be a lemon in a mass produced item that they all can't be perfect. To this point I am happy with my purchase and hope that it continues.

With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP. lenovo

I don't traditionally like Lenovo. I've had bad experience in the past with them. But it appears they have turned a new leaf. Most of the reviews you read here have covered the negatives. Here's a breakdown. I compared this side by side with my new Macbook Pro, and the Macbook is going back. Pros: display. best screen you will find, 4k, bright and sharp good blacks touchpad. I've seen two. Mine has Elantech, which allowed me to customize gestures, which was the one thing I hated about Win10 power. superfast SSD, fast DDR4 RAM, Kaby Lake i7. It flies. price. they can't be making money on this. it has to be a loss leader-there's just no way. From what I could tell, they didn't even cut corners. There's no "its great but...". Nope. Lenovo has a winner here. I/O. regular USB, SD card, mini HDMI, plenty for me. look/feel. feels quality, well designed, good use of space. No bloatware, no MacAfee trials, no junk. Neutral: Fan noise. It's not bad. Maybe some prior version was, but this one (Dec 2016) is fine. You can hear them occasionally, but they are not loud. Considering the hardware this thing pushes, it is fine. sound. nothing special, usual laptop speakers. not bad, not good. battery. better than it should be. meets or exceeds their claimed hours. Cons: keyboard. feels plasticy, but is acceptable. The shift button/up arrow placement is absolutely stupid and I can't believe Lenovo did that. You will hit the up arrow instead of shift constantly. It is an unnecessary thing. power adapter. worse power adapter I have ever seen, period. Short cable, and the adapter itself has to plug directly into the wall. It's a huge box. It's heavy. Not sure why they went with this. Overall: For $1099 (regular price Dec 2016), you can't get better. To be honest, at $1599, you probably couldn't either. If this laptop cant do what you want it to do, then you need to move up to a full gaming laptop I guess, but then you sacrifice a lot as well. This laptop is more than capable of anything you would need a laptop to do. Light gaming, 4k video, you will not run into issues. Things I noticed: this appears to have two different versions of touchpad. In store it was a Synaptics, which I don't like. The one I got is an Elantech-which I love. Personal preference, but elantech allows for some gesture customization. Also, you'll see that I mention it has no bloatware. No MacAfee, no Norton, no garbage at all. When you look at the hardware profile, it actually says "Signature Edition". On Best Buy site though, it doesn't mention this. Now this is actually important! Signature Edition is a special version that Microsoft usually only sells directly through their company store. Signature Editions have better hardware, and have ZERO bloatware; they are designed to be a pure, optimized windows experience. So how did a Signature Edition laptop wind up at Best Buy, but not marketed as one? Maybe some last minute deal with MS and BBY? It has to be something like that, because the hardware profile inside the machine itself certainly indicates that it was supposed to be a high end Microsoft Signature Edition machine, but for some reason, its at Best Buy now. I don't know how, and I don't care-but it explains why it is such an exceptional deal, and doesn't have any of the usual Windows hassles. If you can find one, buy one. Last note: I don't like Window 10, and I don't like Lenovo, but this laptop has changed my mind about them both.
