great laptop with an annoying fan problem

I tried using it on a flat surface so that the vents aren't blocked but that wasn't it. it just wants to turn on for no reason at all. Searched specifically for this problem and see that many others have complained about it. It is so bad that I'm thinking of going back in tomorrow to return it. Everything else was great. the best buy rep who sold me this was really nice too,

It's got all the RAM you'll need to multitask, the hard drive space to ensure you'll never need a external and the UKHD resolution that makes streaming a fantastic experience. I love this laptop and fully recommend it to anyone.

If I had a complaint, it would be that the battery isn't the greatest. But I can deal with that for the performance I get for this price.

Though it's smaller then my last laptop this is soooo much better overall. Flipping over at night and voila! Netflix ready! Plus the touchscreen I don't know how I lived without. 2 thumbs up!!

Try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

Other than just adjusting to a laptop since it's my first one, it's great! The size is perfect for me, the screen is large enough to see well but easy to carry around.

It's a great 2-1 and Lenovo makes rugged, long lasting laptops. I read all the great reviews and made my decision on this laptop as opposed to a MS Surface. The price is right and the quality is outstanding.

Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

However the quality of the handling and inspection of the product was horrible. After getting this present for a gift for my wife and as I was wrapping it is noticed the seal of the box was already open and the outside was punctured. I removed the laptop to see a small dent on the case. Now have to wait till after xmas to argue and return the item since have no time poor to Holiday.
