The keyboard on this has the perfect travel and click to it. That is what made me think to write this review. This computer is decently fast and has a decently bright screen, and fairly good resolution for the price. I have another 1080p laptop and I can't tell the difference. This handles most multitasking like a charm. It will slow if you are running too many programs simultaneously. But overall good buy.

Do not buy this computer! Total black screen after 6 days. Lenovo tech support cannot help. I would never purchase a Lenovo again.

I would never buy this again. What a piece. Thank god I only use it for car diagnostics, the reason I purchased it.

It freezes too much have to reboot all the time, only had the computer about 2 months Lenovo 300 is garbage

The computer is slow with Windows 10 after being used to the speed of windows 7 on an older computer.

2 weeks after the purchase the laptop crashed and had to be replaced. The Geek Squad was fantastic!

I like the larger screen, and need it due to vision problems. I prefer a different version of Windows, but happily accepted the Windows 10 on the computer because I want updates through the entire life of the hardware. The only thing I have an issue with and am kind of hoping for an update by Lenovo is the audio. I'm far from an audiophile, but my old Dell laptop was louder and the audio on it was also much clearer. I'll also say thing - the Dolby Audio enhancements (I adjusted the equalizer to its highest level trying to raise the volume level) seems to kick in some kind of volume leveling. I kind of like that and I kind of don't because it has a setting for the volume leveling and I've left that turned off. Keep in mind I'm talking about when I am using headphones all of this is an issue. Compared to the Dell, the speakers are actually louder, I can hear the videos on facebook much easier through the built in speakers. Keep in mind my feedback here on the audio is when using headphones. I even went and bought a different set of headphones to verify it wasn't the headphones I've had for the past two years. Other than that, it's a great computer, and I'm pleased overall with it.

Shopped all over online, couldn't beat this deal. Decent computer for a great price. Big bright screen, quality up-to-date fast 6th gen. i3, USB 3.0, and Wireless AC (!!!) for relief in my signal-cramped apartment bldg. Unusual to find all those top features in one reasonable box. Fried the motherboard in my old PC - so I did some research, headed to Best Buy, pulled this off the shelf and was on my way in minutes. Basic black plastic - slim but def not designer stylish, it smoothly does everything I need it to do (websurfing/email, MS Office documents, large music library). Adding a solid state drive next week with my remaining budget - zoom zoom. Thrilled with this.

For less than $400 you get a well put-together laptop. The performance is good and the screen size is well worth the money spent.

Lacking in hard drive memory and ram memory but enjoyed the 17 inch screen and so far no hardware problems. Color contrast is good for the price.

I purchased this laptop for my daughter's 8th birthday. I needed something with faster processing speed than a tablet, but it didn't need to be top of the line. My daughter simply wanted to be able to play Minecraft with a few mods without lag, and this definitely exceeds my expectations. It's speedy for what it is, no issues with lag, and very little junkware compared to what comes with most laptops. I believe I only uninstalled one or two programs and that was it. Great deal for the price and what is included, very large screen, not the best sound but it works great for an 8-year-old who is still learning to use a computer. This laptop is ideal for basic browsing needs, streaming movies, simple games, and low productivity apps.

It is a fast laptop for everyday use and some games like Minecraft and even CS: GO. It has good resolution screen, bluetooth, CD / DVD, USB 2.0 and 3.0, fan makes no noise, the only thing that would change it is the hard disk by one 1TB and upgrade the RAM to 8GB although 4GB is fluid and speakers that have integrated sound strong, it has integrated the battery but comes with an instruction to turn it off when you go to change any component. I recommend this laptop.

Pretty good laptop for the money, pretty zippy. Would definately recommend it for general web browsing, witching videos,etc.

This is a great laptop. It's hard to find large screens any more & this one is Huge at 17.5 inches. Processor is fast & memory is 500 gig. It comes with window 10, which is only so so, but I'm adjusting to it's quirks. Battery life is excellent and the WiFi is fast.

Huge LED with intel core i3, no competitor can beat that price. Average performance probably lack of RAM and harddisk I/O speed. But that can be resolve by upgrade on my own.

You cannot get a better laptop for the price. I purchased for my home office, I did immediately swap out the hdd to a ssd and upgraded the ram to 8gb by adding 4gb to the existing 4gb. Runs like a dream.

Bought this for my wife, got it all set up for her and had a WIFI connection problem, Contacted Lenovo for Tech support and found the serial number did not match the model I had, Spoke with a very rude Lenovo off shore tech who just told me to call Thinkpad support and would not listen to my problem. Thinkpad Support in Atlanta apologized for the problem, but couldn't help as then had no documentation for the ideapad machine. Suggested i return the computer to Best Buy which i did. Would never again consider an ideapad. Best Buy accepted the return within 1 week of purchase without a problem.

I was searching for a laptop to replace my HP Touch Screen 15" that my wife hated because of the touch screen. I came across this laptop and did a double take when I saw the price, after reading that it had an Intel Core i3, not a Celeron, nor an AMD...it has an Intel Core i3 processor. It comes loaded with Win10 and 4 gig of ram, but I upgraded the ram and put a SSD drive in it, and WOW, it screams right along. Fast, reliable, nice 17" screen and did I mention it fit my budget perfectly.
