Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Its is not everyday we find HD+ screen on 17 inch laptop with this price range, and intel i3 6100u processor. I bought this laptop with my friend, and help him set up this laptop. This laptop does comes with 4GB ddr3L memory RAM. The webcam is 0.3MP is horrible. The hardrive is 5400 rpm, and have sluggish performance especially when doing windows update or virus scanning. However, for this price, this laptop have a mixed performance between value and some compromises. They way I see it, we can always upgrade the hard drive to SSD and upgrade the memory RAM to 16GB, but is it worth it considering the processor and graphic card? If you only using this for word processing and internet browsing, or simple task, probably it is a good. But for high demanding task, it may able to perform with additional upgrades.

Great laptop for the price

Also had a problem with the video screen driver having to reboot a few times. I am assuming that after I contact Lonovo and them giving me new drivers that this should resolve my technical issues.

I bought 16G of DDR3 and a 480G SSD and thought I would be set. Adding the DDR was a breeze. The SSD, not so much. THe boot options are HDD or network, with no boot from DVD or USB as an option. Arrrf....
