Lonovo PC Issues

Went away on vacation 9 days(without PC) came home and proceeded to use the new PC. Experienced issues ...PC cuts off during use, takes me back to the home page....display flashes during use....locks up quite often during use. Went back to the store 9/24/2016 after being told (earlier that morning) I can return the item for something else and when I arrived at the store I was told that I could not return the PC and it must go in to repair. This PC is less than one month old, now I am left without a PC for GOD knows how long. I feel I was treated with total disrespect when reviewing the issues with the staff.

Slower than my 3 year old core i3 Acer

It has a 6th gen i5 with 8gb ram and it performs like an old slow laptop. My 3 year old Acer with an older i3 and 6gb ram runs circles around this thing. It's truly a night and day difference. I am returning it for a refund and possibly never buy a Lenovo again. I am not a gamer and I do not run intensive apps. I am simply talking about booting, browser slow to open and choppy while opening, simple response times just using the laptop. It is very very sluggish. I even reformatted everything using the windows feature to reset, which took about 1.5-2 hours and still same performance.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 300-17 laptop. This is a very fast system. There is some type of a software conflict going on. Did you install a 3rd party anti-virus software without uninstalling the trial of MacAfee first? Did you install Microsoft Office software rather that activating the software for Office 365 already on the system? You can restore the system back to factory default settings. This will delete everything on the hard drive except the initial factory setting and software. There may be driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. Here is the link:
