slow to boot

The second one worked ok out of the box, but updates took abnormally long to install. At least that is my suspected problem. The keyboard and mouse wouldn't respond to keystrokes. I had to hard reset the power on the laptop and then I started to login, but it took well over an hour to do so. This occurred the fourth time I turned on the laptop to use, approximately 3 weeks after purchases. Each use was for a couple hours or less and then shut down in between uses. Great price, great display, nice keyboard, and it includes a DVD drive!

There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

Windows 10 is a learning curve but keep learning new things. I like the feel of the keyboard. The only downside is the right shift key. I may try to switch it and the PgUp key for smoother typing, Still glad I bought this Lenovo product,

You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP. Descent laptop

Thought the i7 would run faster especially on a Lenovo. But I'm buying another one of its kind. Maybe get a cheaper one that does the same thing.

Great Computer for College Students

This computer is speedy and easy to use. The only complaint that I have is that I seem to have to restart the computer about once a week, because "File Explorer" will sometimes fail to pull up any of my documents. Other than that I love this computer!

It's taking a while to get used to windows 10

I am sure I will enjoy using all the different aspects of the laptop once I become proficient with it.
