not really good laptop

Bought one to replace my 5 year old small business laptop. After going through the usual setup of getting it loaded with the desired software, the notebook began to freeze 3-5 times per day from day 1. The freezes had no trend - sometimes while moving the mouse, sometimes while the screen saver was running, sometimes when an app notification (like sonos) popped up, etc. After a while, it became obvious that this unit was not going to be a long term option. Lenovo customer service instructed me to work with Best Buy since they had no solutions and the return period was in effect. Props to Best Buy! They were great to work with. Trying to be optomistic, I exchanged for the same exact model. Surely, this was a one-off dud. Nope. Within a day, the second Lenovo was freezing in a similar, random fashion. Ain't no body got time for that. Back to Best Buy. I now have an HP 15-BS115DX. It's running like a charm. I waited 2 weeks before posting this to test whether any of the apps/programs I loaded were at fault. But no, I believe the Lenovo's are faulty. Buy at your own risk.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15 laptop. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. Not all computer Brands come preinstalled with a trial version of anti-virus software. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.
Its a great machine, Fast and good value for money
