My 2nd Lenovo laptop

I had my first one for almost 8 years and I replaced it because I dropped it and cracked the case so that I couldn't charge it anymore. The hard drive was still fine and I was able to transfer all my data to the new laptop.

I have a Lenovo at home for myself and I love it. Therefore, I decided to buy this one for him. He says the laptop runs great and serves its purpose. He is very happy with purchase.

I dont need for anything, works very well. Its expandable to 12G of Ram, wont go there because its as fast as seeing the shadow of my fingers and executing the comand

It has nice features like the separate number pad and a DVD drive.

Not a lot of other junk on keyboard or sides to say "What in golly gee whiz is this". Time you hit start button to actual screen is quick. No time for bathroom break.

I may have contracted some viruses on it and need to keep it plugged in most of the time, but otherwise it has done very well for me for the past two years!

Please keep in mind, this model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. Your certified technician can give you your options for replacing the existing hard drive with compatible replacement drive.

The machine has handled all I can throw at it and more. Good speed. Good reliability. Works well with my USB 16 channel Tascam interface. I'm very pleased.

Replacing the battery is tedious and ruins the frame of the computer with the need to pry open the edges. Add to it how slow it is. look for something with real quality.

This configuration with the Intel Dual-Core/Four-Thread Core i3-8130U processor, has a base speed of 2.2GHz and a boost speed of up to 3.4GHz. It has 8GB of RAM to support this processor. This is a fast system configuration. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

The screen is clear as a bell, and easy to read. I made a really great decision with this purchase!
