I am a little dissapointed because the device is slow to respond. It will sometimes freeze up and I have to reboot. Not a bad value for a 1st computer for a 10 year old.

Great Price, Confusing to use.

Unfortunately I found out the hard way why it was to affordable. The whole laptop is made of plastic... The 15.6 inch screen is awesome but the quality and brightness is terrible. The keys got stuck as I typed. The worst part was when I deleted all the bloatware and restarted the laptop. As it booted up to the login it would not accept the one I made and locked me out. I could not recover my password or reset it. I even tried to hard reset the laptop with no luck. I even exchanged it and the same thing happened. I went to Geek Squad and they could not figure it out either.

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15 laptop ships with just two adware programs, a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 (as part of Windows 10 operating system) and a 30-day trial of McAfee virus protection. Lenovo computers ship with one of the cleanest factory software installs within the consumer computer industry. If key operating system files are deleted, you can restore this computer back to original factory settings. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the left side of the device, right near the SD card slot on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. If the problem persists after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

I personally do not like the Microsoft edge; can right click to add icons on my page, as well as did not come with with a manual. I've had this laptop for over 2 months and have only used it 4 times. It is time consuming

With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.
