I bought it to do multimedia presentations by day , and Serato DJ by night. Spectacular performance! Haven't tried gaming, but should be fine. The footprint is small for a 15.6, the screen goes to the edge of the bezel, and it s thin and light , too

Wasn’t expecting the speed and quality of the laptop. Keyboard feels like that of a much more expensive machine, as well as the clarity and sharpness of the screen. Runs great on a 100MB wireless network. Whether on sale or not, this is a great value.

The only downfall is that it takes about two minutes to turn on after you shut the laptop. Other than that it’s amazing!

Posted .The Lenovo IdeaPad 330s-15 laptop has a 128GB solid state hard drive. It should boot to the Windows 10 desktop from power off, in less than 10 seconds. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

With regard to the 30-day Microsoft Office 365 trial that is installed on all Windows 10 computers, the 30-day trial is part of the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. The trial period starts at the time of initial activation of Windows 10, whether you activate Microsoft Office or not. If you activated Windows 10 for the first time and had less than 30-days on the trial period for Microsoft Office, we recommend you contact Microsoft directly. It has a single (already populated) SODIMM slot with a 4GB stick, and 4GB integrated in the motherboard. The SSD is connected via SATA, and has an open M.2 NVME PCI-E slot available for upgrades.

Quick and Easy access

Wanted a quick starting computer with lots of memory. This does it! She can also watch videos when she is finished with homework (cough) play games which she does a little bit. Laptops are nimble and responsive

The techs are understandably picky about their machines but these were received well. They don't have Ethernet ports, but that was my fault for not noticing it. A simple USB-Ethernet resolves that issue.

The screen is mat. I do not like reflective screens so that was a big plus. Easy to set up. It does have to be charged quite often but that is not a problem for me. Overall a great laptop.

To maximize battery life, first adjust your battery saver settings. Next, to maximize battery life, be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:
