Make McAfee less intrusive please

Most of the HD space is taken up by the OS itself, which normally wouldn't be a bad thing, but the rest is taken up by the old installation (how that exists in a brand new PC is beyond me) that isn't able to be deleted for a full 30 days after setup. Not even granting admin privileges will delete it. It won't let you delete garbage data it was going to delete anyway that shouldn't even be on there.

Posted .You should be able to delete any software installed on this device, including the trial version of McAfee virus protection. I have been searching for at least six months trying to find a laptop that was decently priced but that could fit my needs. I have purchased (not kidding when I say this) four different laptops close to this price, but they were so slow and boggy and couldn't even compare to what I needed and they have all been returned and exchanged. I have a few topics other people are calling negative about this device that I want to address. Fan Throttle - I am a busy college student but I also have a social life. I have used this device for longer than five hours with a big game running and no throttling has happened. Is the fan loud...eh maybe more so than others but would I say it's obnoxious...no. Battery Life- I think people are over exaggerating. I use this laptop in college to take notes and it will last for all of my classes which is equivalent to two hours, no it doesn't die on me my classes are just over. It last me three to three in a half hours just for basic use like searching online and writing papers for my studies. Also when I run a big game on it, I can play for around two to two in half hours before it says battery low, that's not bad in my eyes because again it's a huge draining game and maybe some people play for longer than that but I personally don't so it isn't an issue for me. The cord is so thin and two pronged so you could plug it in to any extension cord or wall so who cares if you have to do that after close to three hours. I think the charger design is great and convenient. Gaming - I have a gaming desktop so this category wasn't a huge issue for me when purchasing, however when it's my friends turn to host a gaming night lugging that giant thing over there is a PAIN. No this laptop doesn't have a dedicated card but it does run a few of my most played games smoothly. Examples include Garrys Mod, Sims 4 with all DLC and mods installed, half life series, tomb raider, etc. I don't know about other bigger games because like I said I have a gaming desktop and I use this more so when I'm being social or don't want to be trapped in my room all day. I run these games on full HD and it's fast no lagging. Now Addressing the Positives Display/Picture - Beautiful picture, vibrant colors, great sleek screen design. Super thin border around the screen for a more modern look. As stated before my games are beautiful hd pictures and so is just daily web browsing. Speed- Quick boot up times, literally takes less than a minute and your pc is ready to work for you. Every things loads so quickly including websites and games. Great response time and no lag issues. Design- I love this sleek design, it's thin, light weight, small border around the scree, a metallic like silver, perfect for packing up with you and taking to social events or college as I do. Even the charging cord is thin, long, and two pronged. So looking for that three pronged wall plug only nonsense is over for me. Over all I am so pleased. As I said I have been searching for so long for a decently priced laptop that suits my studies and my gaming and after a long adventure I finally got it. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal. With regard to running demanding games and other demanding software on this device.
