It was a return and it was a good deal for the price, but we were not told that memorory could not be added to it because only one port could be used. I'm sure that is why it was returned to begin with.

Good, basic desk top for home use

Have been favorably impressed with Lenovo's home edition products, which seem to have many of the same rugged characteristics as my office system does. With regard to learning your way around Windows 10, you may want to try YouTube.com (just type that address in your browser address window). There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free. As for playing a music CD, just load it into the CD/DVD tray, close and the proper software to play music should open. Just start the program. With commercial DVD movies, Windows 10 Home does not have software included to play a commercial DVD movie. You will need to find Media Player Software that is compatible with Windows 10 and install it on your computer to play commercial movie DVDs. Windows Store has Microsoft Media Player but it is not free. Hope this helps. Let us know if we can be of any further help.
Fast, compact, easy setup and great WIFI reception
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did a bunch of hunting and comparisons - the 6th generation i3 smokes my 3rd gen i7 laptop - will probably up the RAM to 8 but runs fine on 4. The external antenna for WIFI really made a difference - runs like I have it hard wired. 4 USB 3.0 and a 1 TB hard drive make it great for input and storage. A really good buy under $400.
