There is some firmware bug which both companies (Lenovo and Google) is not taking the responsibility for. You can search online and find that many people is having the same issues. Apart from this issue, this product is awesome.

Good Smart Display

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The design is was caught my eye when we first got it, and in reality thats the reason why I want to get rid of it now too. Works just fine, just dont like the look anymore. No fault of the product, you either like it or dont. As a smart display, that works just like all the others out there.

difficult to setup

Wife and I have spent a lot of time trying to get it setup , still working on it. Looks like we have to pay Geek Squad to come get it working.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having some problems setting up your Lenovo Smart Display. Please follow these steps:a) Take the Lenovo Smart Display out of the box and plug in the power adapter on the back side.
b) Download the “Google Home” app on your phone/tablet and sign in on your Google account.
c) The app will show you a new Lenovo Smart Display is nearby. Click to set it up.
d) Follow the instructions inside the application until the setup is completed.
Then you can start your conversation with “Hey Google”. The average set up time will take approximately 5 to 8 minutes.

We watch movies on it, it reads my news to me, it tells me my appointments for the day, and I live video chatting with my relatives that live far away and also have one. We have 2 in our home, this and the Google one. This version is definitely the one to go with!

There is the way it integrates with NEST DOORBELL and Duo for video and voice chats! It does everything you want from a Google Home PLUS all the visual and touchscreen gains. If you can get one while it is on sale (I got it when it was half-off) it is totally worth it.
