We purchased 4 of these during the pandemic and gave them to family so we could all communicate. The device has its limitations since you can only use duo to make video calls and the interface is confusing, but as a group we were able to figure it out and loved chatting whenever we could. The grandparents even use this to read stories to the grandkids at night. We also find this really handy to use in our kitchen to pull up recipes and for general looking up of things. Apparently there is a very well known issue with this device... There is a faulty ribbon cable that connects the LCD screen to the unit. Out of the 4 units we purchased, 1 encountered this flaw. It was the one we kept for ourselves luckily, as that would have been a super crappy gift otherwise. Our device works but the screen does not. It happened of course right as our warranty was expiring and due to busy work schedules, and work travel, we were not able to troubleshoot the device before the warranty expired. Within a week of the warranty expiring, we followed troubleshooting steps online per Lenovo's website, and when it still wouldn't work, we tried to contact Lenovo support, and that was NOT an easy task to complete. They sent us the same troubleshooting steps that we had already completed and did not respond to any follow up emails or questions. We tried to contact support online multiple times after that and did not have any luck getting through to anyone. We gave up on that route and contacted Lenovo through Facebook instead. They were finally responsive through this channel but would not honor the warranty and sent me a list of places I could take the unit for repair, at my own cost. Long story short, we will not be purchasing any more Lenovo devices. This device should have lasted longer than 1 year. In this experience, 1 out of the 4 units we purchased was a lemon... The device had a publicly known flaw and Lenovo refused to honor our warranty bc we contacted them a week after it expired... when the unit was already malfunctioning before that. I mean at least offer to send a repair kit? Not cool Lenovo.

We enjoyed having this in our kitchen so much, for Christmas my fiancé & I bought one for each of our parents and grandparents. I love having it on the counter to easily pull up a recipe, video chat, watch a show or movie or play music. Definitely worth it.

I thought I would love this display but it gets stuck with a white wheel every day. I have the google home hub and it never does that. I like the size of the display when it works.

Purchased this as screen to announce Nest Hello Doorbell. At first it worked wonderfully. Then Google made tons of changes and it is only working for our purpose part of the time. Rather frustating.

With discount very good purchase. Docstation peiring only with tab.. in standby mod without using screen and turned off wireless option losing 1%of battery for 24H.. brightness were pour. In full using battery drain for 4H or so.

I really like this unit it uses google platform so if you are familiar with that platform it will be easy to use.. I have it in my bedroom so I set wake up alarms to a music station, it has different clock settings so you can see it from across the room .. all in all its a great unit so much so I bought 3 more

This device is so handy to have. Love getting the time and weather plus answers to random questions. One thing that makes it really helpful in the kitchen is the ability to set timers by voice. And since it has a screen the timers are displayed which is helpful to see at a glance how much is left.

I got this a an Anniversary present for my husband he wanted a souped up alarm clock he gives this the thumbs up he’s going to buy a smart doorbell to use with it it has a nice touchscreen.The alarm is pleasant when waking you up I recommend this device.

my wife and I enjoy using this, from using it for cooking recipes to playing music, and checking the traffic and weather. Sometimes you have to ask it to play music twice initially because it opens Pandora and says "sorry I can't do that right now". That's the only issue we have.

Just love it. I keep it in my kitchen, and have it connected to Google Home. I use it to make calls to other rooms on my house with Google satelite dots, have it connected to Google pictures, so it acts as a picture frame, and more.

I love this in my kitchen. I do lots of dishes and it's a blast to stream different content to this smart screen as I work. Great google smart search features as well - I prefer this over any Alexa devices. The screen is a crisp resolution for photos too!

Loud speakers, great price, capable of all chromecast functionalities including casting your phone screen (androids), watch YouTube and other apps, video chat using Duo, and control all google home products. It's great If you have a use for it.

I like the device. Some flaws... don’t like how you can navigate in apps on the thing.. you have to tell it to navigate almost everywhere.... which this type of voice technology isn’t quite there yet to be so dependent on that.

I bought this to be an assistant and entertainment device in our kitchen. The voice controls work great for playing music off my Spotify account. The display can also act as a Chromecast and I can stream my PS Vue account to watch sports, news, etc and never miss a thing while I’m in the kitchen.

Works well. To say “okay google” from a little bit of a distance you need to be a little bit louder than normal. Look forward to updates. One of my nest cameras I had to change the name of cause it couldn’t figure it out. Instead it kept googling locations the name of the camera.

I bought this on a whim because of an excellent price. I was trying it out to see if the larger version would make a good gift for my parents. I liked it so much I kept mine and bought them the larger version which they love too. They use it mainly as a smart picture frame.

I bought this for the reason of needing an smart alarm clock and not use my phone. They said it was to big to be a bedside clock and I am here to tell you it is an awesome bedside clock. Liked it so much I bought the 10 inch one as well and gave this one to my little bro
