You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If you ever need additional help with your Lenovo computer, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

This Lenovo All-in-One has proved an excellent replacement. I had some initial difficulty in setting-up the new PC, but was eventually able to complete the set-up after contacting Lenovo support.

Only 256GB of memory

I went to best buy and told the rep what I was looking for. I told him that I do graphic design etc. etc. I was heavily encouraged to buy this one because it has a "great processor"- but realized afterward that it has only 256Gb of memory. Not nearly enough- fast forward now and I can barely even work on it and have to get a memory upgrade. But it was my fault for not looking closely at all the specs- I did put my trust in the rep though but I know now to do my own due diligence.

It's OK but there are a few glaring problems

I do medical transcription from home, and it's not always convenient to use the speakers on the computer. The audio sounds much better when I can use headphones. It is fast enough, but some programs don't seem to work right, like Adobe Acrobat. Whenever I open a PDF file, it just appears black and pixelated. For the price, I wish I would have received a little more bang for my buck.

It is on the left side of the device screen right near the two USB ports also on the lift side of the device screen. We always recommend you check the requirements and compatibility of any software you will be installing on your new computer, before you invest in any computer. Be sure your new computer can support the software you will need to use. This specific configuration is a mid-range model with its Quad-Core AMD Ryzen 3 3200GE processor, with a speed of 3.3GHz. This processor is supported by 8GB 2666MHz RAM and a 256GB M.2 2280 NVMe TLC OPAL solid state hard drive. There is no built in CD/DVD drive within this configuration, but you can use a CD/DVD drive with this system by using an external, USB-based, Windows 10 compatible CD/DVD drive.

This computer will meet his school needs and has plenty capability to play games such as Mindcraft (java edition). Set up is simple, and wifi connection was easy. Elegant design and very nice display. It comes with a wireless keyboard that charges via USB to the computer and a wireless mouse that is powered by AAA battery. We will see how long the mouse battery lasts Note to parents: rather than trying to set parental controls via the computer's browser, invest in a home wifi mesh router such as TP Link where it is easier to set limits and controls.
