He also had and iPad, but likes this computer so much he barely uses the iPad. I wish that his had gotten a protection plan, but I don’t recall being offered on during time of purchase. Still this is probably the best laptop my son has had. Thank you!

PROS - Reasonably priced - Touch screen - 4k - Came with decent software that could talk to Microsoft Office but was not MO - Cloud storage CONS - Not a fan of the OS - Small hard drive caoacity - No CD/DVD drive - Funky OS......cannot say that enough - Screen was 4k but when compared to other 4k computers it just looked....more grainy I ended up returning this conputer to be honest with you. Maybe I need to be more open minded but I just did not like this for all the reasons above, which outweighed the positives.

This model ships with a 15.6 inch (screen size measured diagonally) IPS - FHD (1920x1080) 10-point Multi-touch screen, with a brightness level of 250 nits and has an Anti-glare coating. The C340-15 is a Chromebook. It ships with the Chrome Operating System. This Chromebook. uses Google Docs for office type programs. Google Docs is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. If you must have the actual Microsoft Office Programs, you can purchase Microsoft Office 365 for this Chromebook at the Google Play Store. There is no CD/DVD drive within this Chromebook. Chrome OS does not support optical disks to let you play music or movies.

Have been using a small Chromebook for about 3 years now and it meets or exceeds all my needs except my aging eyes needed a larger screen. No problems or complaints. It was a great buy at the sale price. Be advised, it is an Android operating system, so you won't be able to download software such as TurboTax, for example.

I decided to try a chromebook this time as i needed something simple and not a fortune. Bought this on sale and so far i like it. The processing speed is good, the fan is quiet, battery lasts long enough, and like the 2 in 1 feature.

A Chromebook can't do everything so I was worried but it can do everything we needed it to do for work, and it looks like a more expensive machine. Plus with the touch screen it's great for Google Docs and Photos.

Nevertheless, as a Chromebook, it is super fast in comparison to a Windows computer. The simplified operating system makes it intuitive to work with. I don't know its successor model, but this machine does an excellent job for me.

If you want a chromebook and want the full sized Metal device, this is the one to get. Now that Microsoft has limited the ability to run the office apps on chromebooks, I have moved back to Windows

The Lenovo - C340-15 handles everything we have tried to use it for. The I3 processor does not slow down. We use the Chromebook for zoom calls, email, games, browsing and school work. Would definitely recommend.
