She didn't want to just use her iPad, so I got her this. She was very happy. It keeps auto-updating for the next 5 years. Perfect little chromebook for browsing, chat, mail, etc. I don't know how many people need a laptop for just these functions, but it works for us. Of course it does everything else a chromebook does, but what I listed is all she needs. This is the perfect purchase.
