Its always on, even when its off. So, I have it segregated on my wi fi. Also, I am not 100% sure how long it will be supported. Again, you get what you pay for. It's fone for basic web browsing and checking e-mail.

All Chromebooks utilize the Google Chrome Operating System. This Chromebook 3 is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. It is good for utilizing compatible applications available in the Google Play app store and light internet browsing.
