I've run several tests on it like installing recommended games, and what little is to offer on the software. My computer got slow after 2 weeks. Updates show up on your screen but i feel like it doesn't do anything. I'd recommend this computer if you want the minimal meaning Youtube, Any Google stuff and social media bs. Im pretty easy to please. This computer is the basic my friends. Also i keep my computer plugged in because the charge is halfway by 2 hrs. not great.

I have a laptop and older tablet already and this is too limited for one and weigh too heavy for the other. Been trying to do simple things like copy picture, wallpaper and music files but have yet to find a way to do it as there is no transfer/copy function button or option visible. Tried to use it as a reader (albeit heavy one!) but the reader will not display a full screen page, only showing a narrow column. Yes that is probably 3rd party software but n9t sure why my android reader works on tablet and phone but fails on this hybrid. May turn this over to one of my grandsons as they only need video games IF I can get those to work.

Google Docs is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. If you must have the actual Microsoft Office Programs, you can purchase Microsoft Office 365 for this Chromebook at the Google Play Store.
