This one was on sale when I bought it for around $250.00 and was a great deal. I would buy another one tomorrow if I could get it that cheap again. I have not used it much my daughter does but she has not had any complaints or issues.

It has touch screen which is a big advantage to others in this price range. This has a Mediatek CPU not Intel Celeron - so if you are planning to install Linux directly this is not for you. Good screen brightness with decent keyboard and touchpad.

Perfect for school work

My 2nd grader has been enjoying her Chromebook as she can access her schoolwork and even have some games online etc. it was a great purchase. We’ve had it for 2 years. Hold great battery life.

There has been some bad reviews for this laptop for the screen, however the touchscreen version of this laptop has a superior screen which is absolutely fine for a chromebook. The UI is super responsive. Apps open instantly and there is no slowness. The touchpad is not so responsive so its recommended to use a small mouse.

I use the Chromebook for very light duty (web browsing) and it's fine for that. The touch screen is a nice addition; the keyboard has a positive feel. For the price, I would definitely buy this Chromebook again. PROS: Battery life, touch screen, price CONS: Inconsistent Internet speed

Solid low-end machine

It's his 3rd one and he's naturally pretty rough on them now as he is elderly. However, they are great in general for elderly folk due to their simplicity of use, if all they really want to do is browse the internet and check email. The keyboards on his last 2 gave out pretty quick as certain keys stopped working. So far this chromebook has held up much better and is definitely more solidly built. This chromebook is also a lot faster. It's worth spending a bit more for quality, as the real cheap chromebooks are just that.

Very clear graphics and touch screen is awesome. CPU speed is decent. Keyboard is sturdy and overall construction is solid. Too early to comment on battery life just yet. Google chrome doesn’t allow me to access some resources that other laptops offers as well. I’ll have to check in with geek squad about that soon.
