After many hours with Lenovo support, we have now learned this machine simply will not support linux and thus will not support minecraft. No complaints otherwise, but the purpose for us is lost. I want to help others avoid this pitfall as the Chrome OS is listed as having Linux but it turns out this specific machine's flavor of Chrome OS cannot support a Linux environment.

For the Right Click Function: Press or tap the touchpad with two fingers. You can also press Alt, then click with one finger. To use the Scroll Function: Place two fingers on the touchpad and move them up and down to scroll vertically, or left and right to scroll horizontally. Battery issues

I have the MacBook Pro, the iPad Pro, iPhone, the Apple Watch, AirPods Pro, and three HomePods. I love how seamlessly all my products work together. Getting the keyboard for the iPad was a game changer. So, now I take my iPad on the go, and I usually only have to bring my laptop when we go out of town. I love it!
