Touchscreen is so convenient and touchpad is very responsive. Overall it's really a nice day-to-day chromebook

Great little computer for day to day regular stuff. Only returned it because the touchscreen didn’t handle a digital pen for our documents at our business. I’d buy it again for light stuff. - star for that.

This laptop does everything I need. Only negative is no backlight but I knew that before purchasing

They are amazingly durable! Both still work perfectly after tons of drops, spills, and everything you could imagine little kids doing to them..

Definitely glad we got 64GB storage (20GB used with just a few apps installed). Would have liked an option for 8GB RAM.

Posted .Hello, we are sorry to hear that you encountered an issue with your Chromebook 3 14. In advance, this is a lengthy response, however we want to give you and other readers of this response as much information as possible to help ensure your issue is resolved. If you are still experiencing this issue, first, we recommend doing a reset on the device. Pushing the power button, or rebooting, does not remove the trickle charge that keeps the embedded controller (EC) running. A hard reset drops all power to the EC, so when the power comes back on it goes through a reinitialization. Since the EC controls the keyboard, touchpad, battery, and all other on-board peripherals, performing this it can potentially fix a wide range of problems. The procedure is detailed on this web page: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/3227606?hl=en . Some devices require specific steps, but most newer devices only require a simple keyboard sequence: First turn off your Chromebook completely (do not just close the lid). Next, hold down the Refresh keyboard icon key and then press and hold the Power button. Hold both down for 10 seconds. Release the Refresh key and then the Power button and your Chromebook will restart. If it does not start, press Power again. If your issues persist after this, we recommend reaching out to Lenovo Tech Support for Chromebooks at this number: 800-426-7378.

It is literally wrapped and under the Christmas tree for my kid but you all keep wanting me to review it so here it goes. The box is eye pleasing brown with nice black writing on it. Not to slippery but not to coarse. The tape looks like it was applied with the upmost care. Perfect looking brown box

Chrome Book PC, Worst ever!

If you are like I am someone that has used the Windows environment for some 20-30 years you will find this Chrome world time consuming and difficult. It is just enough different that nothing is what it seems. However, if you like to learn new things and have a lot of extra time you might find this to be exciting. I have not. What is worse? No real instruction nor classes in Chrome are made available at zero or low cost when you purchase this machine. I'll keep plugging away on it, as I've spent the money. Just don't like it.

I was not aware that you basically cannot download anything on a chromebook. There are so many apps and softwares that are not supported by Chrome OS. If you just need a basic laptop to check your emails or watch movies, this is a good laptop for you. But if you are wanting to use this for more advanced things, i suggest buying a different computer that isn’t a chromebook.
