Needs a lot of work

What I thought was a Windows 10 problem I now believe is a problem with the computer. The problem is the computer will just reboot without any notice. Windows itself installs updates and nag you to reboot but it does ask before rebooting and losing every thing you have been working on for hours.

Posted .You can turn off automatic updates within Windows 10. You will still get alerts when there is an update available, but you will be able to decide when to allow the update. This will give you the opportunity create a restore point before you allow the update and you can select when the update occurs. To change the automatic update settings in Windows 10, click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows desktop screen. Type "automatic updates" in the search window. Select "Windows Update Settings" from the list of choices. Select "Advanced options". Under "Choose how updates are installed", click on the dropdown menus and select how you want Windows updates to occur.
