This my first chromebook and bought it for basic necessities with the ocasional presentation and documentation drafting. One of my main complaints about this device is the audio quality. I recommend running an audio equalizer to adjust audio to your preference.

We would like to share with you that Chromebooks support Steam Remote Play which allows you to enjoy your steam library from your mobile device through streaming.
To start, download the Steam Link app from the Google Play Store on your Chromebook. This app allows you to connect to your gaming PC running Steam and stream games directly to your Chromebook. Then connect a Bluetooth controller to your Chromebook for a better gaming experience, as many games are optimized for controller input. Next, prepare your gaming PC by ensuring that Steam is installed and running on your gaming PC. Continue by opening Steam, go to Settings, and select Remote Play. Check the box to Enable Remote Play. To connect your Chromebook, launch the Steam Link app on your Chromebook and follow the prompts to connect it to your gaming PC. Make sure both devices are on the same network for optimal performance.
Once connected, you can access your Steam library and start streaming games from your PC to your Chromebook.

I was a little concern with only having 4 GB but if you want to use it as a media consumption device and light work with not a lot of tabs open you should be fine.

I've found that discord needs to be ran through the browser if I'm also running another app. It does what I need it to though, even with the fumbling of not being able to run multiple apps at once.
