My husband likes it for the games and puzzles on it. I enjoy how it works and I know if I am not around to help him, he will be able to learn on it and know enough to get someone to help.

This was an awful computer. It broke in the first week, and it was returned. Best buys service was fantastic in the return process

got this for my cousin and used a bit before giving them and found it pretty great. He is pretty happy with this, please note this is for min usage only.

The features on this laptop are really fantastic. As everyone mentioned, the screen is amazing. It's fast and quiet.I won't go into the pros much because it looks like others reviewers already listed them all here. I want to mention a few negatives about it though. First, I had to return it for an exchange the day after purchase. It seems the display backlight died, so you couldn't see anything on it (you could barely make out the outlines of stuff if you tilted the screen a certain way.) The exchange process at BestBuy was great, I just gave them the old one, picked up the new one, they gave me a new receipt, and the whole thing took only like 5 or 10 min. I've had the second one for a day now, so another thing I've noticed that both, the first one I had and this one, is (I think this happens after sleep) the wifi dies after you first use it for anything (like going to a site.) It comes back after about 30 seconds to a minute, and then it seems to work fine the rest of the time until you put it to sleep and later wake it again. I'll have to do more testing on this, but this seems to be a consistent pattern for now. Maybe the drivers need to be updated. And thirdly, while the sound is fine, it's nothing to write home about. It's loud enough when the room isn't noisy, and it doesn't sound bad or anything. And really, the sound on most laptops isn't that great. So hopefully the screen doesn't die again and the wifi issues are resolved. Other than that I'm very happy with this laptop.

The specs for this laptop are great; however, the built quality is horrible. The issues are trackpad being loose, monitor plastic poping out. Maybe it was a bad batch. Bought an Asus and quality is perfect.

A good solid product. I expected more from Lenovo! Nice size hard drive, speed good, but the screen is not bright with the clarity some others provide. This one has a bad venting system or defect.

This computer crashed after less than a month of using it. We took it in and Geek Squad said it was unrepairable. Best Buy did refund our money.

After almost a year, it has proven to be a reliable laptop. I haven;t had any problems that the negative reviewers have outlined. Very happy with this laptop.

Bought this laptop to replace my dated Toshiba laptop. Battery life is great and it can handle everything that I need to do for my classes and then some!

I was looking for a laptop under $500. I asked some store associates which computer would fit my needs best and I was led to this computer. I must say, I hate this computer! The spacing and set up of the keyboard seems akward. It constantly looses its internet connection, moves insanely slow and too easily can you zoom the screen. Happens by accident all the time. Wish I would have done more research but I had heard great things about Lenovo. Total disappointment.

I would not buy this as it is having so many issues with hardware driviers

Metal casing - solid and sturdy. Wide screen, great option to flip over and watch movies, edit photos, touch and not type. 5th generation i3 processor not far off in performance from the i7 option so do not get caught up in this. Intel 5500HD graphics is a step up. 500GB is MORE than you will ever use. For $399.00 what else do you want as this truly is a desktop replacement and for the traveler as it is rugged?

This laptop is a very good investment for the price point. Good picture quality, it has run well with no problems.

Although this computer has a touch screen with the top part being able to move 180, there are some negative things with this computer. I have it updated to the latest software, but it's just running so slow. The pages are loading slow, and sometimes the touch screen is lagging. If I could, I should've returned this and got a different laptop

This computer was perfect for a beginner and is very simple to use with an outstanding battery life.

Awesome laptop touchscreen & Full HD resolution. The i3 chip & 8GB RAM is fast too. The lighted keyboard is very convenient to use. The screen brightness is a little dimmer than most laptop I had in past. This brightness has to be on full blast as to my other laptop setting was just mid to 3/4 brightness. Problem with mine is that sometimes, the screen brightness would just flash bright then back down out of nowhere on it's own. I returned the 1st laptop because of this but the second one does the same thing too. I hope it's not an ongoing problem or getting worst latter on. I used lots of laptops but this is the 1st that I see this happening. Hope it's a firmware not hardware problem so it can be easily fix. Heck some of this could just be MS Windows problem causing the issues. I read some people complained that this laptop is slow but it's not the case. Heck, whenever MS Windows update on whatever computer, the computer slows down to a halt yet they keep advertising that it's only updating in the background & you can keep working. Heck NO, even this new laptop has no additional software installed but I had to waited at least 30min for the MS Windows to complete installing & reboot before I can use the laptop. MS Windows Crapola
