It is not as fast as more robust models, but is all she needs at this time. She likes the fact that it can be used as a tablet as well. I think this is the best value for the money of any of the laptops I investigated.

Forgot my wifi password, have to resolve that problem first. Also have been away so that has held me up. I like the size and shape of it very much. I don't think it is a Touch Screen. No it isn't a Touch Screen, it has a mouse included in the laptop.

Haven't traveled with it yet (as I did easily with my netbook) so I am not sure how portable this will be. But the keyboard is much nicer for sure. My problem is with the touchscreen which has only worked intermittently since it arrived. Three calls to Lenovo's tech support have not solved the problem which they now think is an LCD problem. Now I have to make the trip to Best Buy to see if they can fix it.

One of the god children is taking nursing in college second yr. so we brought her this lap top. This is a great asset to a student.
