Once I turned on the laptop, it already had a virus on if then they wanted to charge me $200 to fix it

I was looking for a small, portable computer with an internal hard drive - and that's what this is. The ability to use it as a tablet is a bonus. It's a little big and awkward as a tablet, so if you're looking for something lightweight and easy to hold, this isn't it - but if you're looking for a small, portable laptop with an internal hard drive, this is what you're looking for. It's a little slower than some other computers in its class, but for the price, it's a good value, and it will serve great for a portable travel computer, which is what I was looking for.

I had a Toshiba notebook with 4GB of ram and a Celeron processor before I bought this and had very few complaints regarding processing speed so I was very surprised to find the Lenovo Flex 3 to be so laggy. In hindsight, I realize the Toshiba was running Windows 8, not 10 and I suspect Windows 10 puts a lot of demand on the processor. I do love the lightweight construction and touch screen. But like others have said, even when I'm just running the browser, it will get hung up and the mouse won't track because it's trying to process everything. I disabled many of my Chrome extensions and even removed the McAfee AV in favor of Bitdefender's lightweight software. I feel like this is about as good as it's going to get for this price point. I know to opt for more RAM next time.

They should not make a computer with less than a 4gb. Slower than snail.

The key to my decision to purchase was the holiday bundling the Flex with an Xbox One GOW:UC for $499. After purchasing, I found this to be a brilliant combination of tech that I am very happy to have in my home. The Lenovo Flex 3 is a good portable solution for work and play. It allows me to fill the gap between my desktop and Phablet and offers the best of both worlds. Ultra portable and full Windows 10 software. Setting up was very simple as I have both a work and personal MS account. I can easily switch between as I wish and even complete tasks on the go or back in the office using one drive or Dropbox. For home the discovery of streaming games from my Xbox 1 was a jaw dropping eureka moment. This is something I have wanted so that I can fit my love of gaming into my schedule. I absolutely recommend this for anyone interested in light computing or as a second computer and would recommend it above buying a high-end tablet.

Takes forever to start up. Freezes when changing to tablet.

I understand that this has a hard drive, and that would require more power to process faster and all, but this little machine is way too slow. This came with the XBOX One we purchased. I thought it was a pretty good deal, but this little machine works slower than my 3-year old Toshiba Laptop, and slower than my Lenovo Yoga tablet I have been enjoying a lot. It is a nice machine with a good concept. It just needs more power in order to provide sufficient performance. I am glad that I did not install Microsoft Office in this. I don't think this would have worked well. I still use it. It is small and easy to carry around, but I would not buy this again. It came with XBOX, so I have it. I would not have paid to get this if I am looking for a new laptop.

BEWARE. This computer has trouble connecting to wi-fi. I purchased the Flex 3 several months ago. I don't expect a cheaply-priced computer to be powerful but I thought this model would at least be good for word processing and e-mail. I WAS WRONG. This Flex 3 HAS BIG TROUBLE TRYING TO CONNECT TO WIFI. Even when my cell phone picks up a wifi signal this computer tells me there are no connections available. After restarting or waiting a long time it MAY detect the wifi signal, but then it may, OR MAY NOT show me the list of connections so I can choose one. Sometimes it admits that connections are available but won't show them, I click "network settings" to resolve the issue but the computer LOCKS UP. Please don't buy this computer. I was willing to accept a weak, slow computer as long as it worked but I feel ripped off by this thing. I only give it 2 stars because MS Word and a few other apps do work, otherwise would have given only 1.

It is light, then I do not have problem carrying it to school everyday. I could install and use all of the software needed.

I was so excited when I bought the laptop. It's super cute and I loved that it was also touch screen. I was so excited. But then I took it home and started using it the next day and it is very, very slow. I returned it because of how slow to respond it is. I'm bummed. I had higher hopes!

I bought this on a 4 hour sale for about 40% cheaper than list price. Laptop was great for web browsing and general windows tasks. is light weight and small size. Processor is entry level, so you cannot run programs like databases or servers or virtual machines on this. Office works good, no issues on that. So a good meeting laptop or house hold laptop.

I bought this for my mother. It is a really good value for the price. The computer looks good and feels sturdy. It's a little bulkier than I'd prefer and it's not super fast but it's good for everyday use.

At the time when I purchased I didn't realize how small the computer screen was but that was my fault so I will not take away from the review. However the computer works like a dream. I love the 2 in 1 touchscreen. I have an online class and it works perfect!

I wanted something small that I could handle in bed and around the house, but I did not want s netbook. I wanted a real computer. I didn't think I needed a touch screen but I love that, too. I've read complaints that it's slow and it can be a little slow, but it's great for surfing the web and games. I would by this again! I've had it for a year with no problems.

I honestly thought this was an awesome computer in the start but after I started messing with it I realized that the quality of the screen was bad. It was extremely slow. And it would continue to kick me out of apps and websites I was trying to view and go back to the start page. In the end I don't really see this computer as being really good use to anyone if you want something that actually works

i purchased this based on previous satisfied purchase of entry level 7" lenovo tablet. i have owned this conevrtible laptop since feb. 2016. after a few months of use I can comment on several issues. perrformance specs seemed great for a convertible laptop. good amount of memory, easy to unload bloatware. installed windows 10 upgrade as recommended by OS. computer is not that speedy for basic internet browsing. touch screen performance when using as "tablet" also lags, even after calibration. im not really a fan of the integrated "apps" with classic laptop menu. Its perfect for savvy smart phone users but I prefer seamless classic windows operation. the buttons are flimsy, I question the durability. screen resolution is not the best and suffers even more when not plugged in wall (eco savings turned off is worthless). viewing angle is below average. for the price, I would have paid a bit more for entry level conventional laptop. I would not purchase another Lenovo convertible laptop.

i feel like I have to wait for ever for iTunes to load and the other apps too I love this computer but way to slow and that's not good it should hold up with the 4 gigs I want this computer to work I don't want to take it back but I may have to due to how slow I had a windows 10 hp x2 that run faster then this

runs smoothly. meets my need and reasonable price.
