After enough use the left hinge failed and subsequently cut the video cable running thru it to the display. I bought him a new one for christmas and plan on ensureing he doesnt carry open unless the display is flat to the bottom. Elsewise it has proven to be a great chromebook and by using the family link app i can control what is and isnt availanle for him.

Great Little Laptop

It has become my go-to machine. I like the size it is a true laptop and that is where it is most of the time. It's fast to start, has good battery life, and charges quickly. I've had zero problems with it.

She calls me and stated that she haven't put it down,it's small and light weight,fits right into her backpack and goes every where. The battery last a few day before charging. She love it and that's all that matters.
