Customers are saying

Customers praise the Flex 3 Chromebook's touchscreen, ease of use, and affordability. Many appreciate its long battery life, compact size, and lightweight design, finding it performs well for its price. However, some users point out the lack of an HDMI port and limited RAM as drawbacks. The overall feedback suggests a positive experience for most users, despite these minor shortcomings.

I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE LAPTOP, IT'S THE CHROME OS I JUST CAN'T GET USED TO. THIS OPERATING SYSTEM CONFUSES ME AND I JUST CAN'T GET USED TO HOW IT RUNS. IT'S MUCH DIFFERENT THAN THE WINDOWS OS WHICH I HAVE ALWAYS WORKED WITH ON ALL MY OTHER COMPUTERS, PHONES AND TABLETS.

It feels "cheap". The power cord already has several breaks after using it for a couple of weeks. For me, the keyboard is too small. I would like to take it back to "trade up" to one that is more comfortable for me and doesn't have a cheap, plastic cord.

At first it was fantastic. But after about two months it became so laggy it's almost unusable. Plus, despite how long the meter *says* you have, the battery starts dying very quickly.

Received item but as soon as turned on it did not work. Geek squad appointment made as soon as they looked at it said best to return product for a credit. Not sure of problem but severe enough that it had to be returned.

Hello, JamesP, we are sorry to hear that you encountered an issue with this Flex 3 11 Chromebook. In advance, this is a lengthy response, as we want to give you and other readers of this response as much information as possible to help ensure your issue is resolved now or should you encounter something similar in the future. If you are still experiencing this issue, first, we recommend doing a reset on the device. Pushing the power button, or rebooting, does not remove the trickle charge that keeps the embedded controller (EC) running. A hard reset drops all power to the EC, so when the power comes back on it goes through a reinitialization. Since the EC controls the keyboard, touchpad, battery, and all other on-board peripherals, performing this it can potentially fix a wide range of problems. The procedure is detailed on this web page: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/3227606?hl=en . Some devices require specific steps, but most newer devices only require a simple keyboard sequence: First turn off your Chromebook completely (do not just close the lid). Next, hold down the Refresh keyboard icon key and then press and hold the Power button. Hold both down for 10 seconds. Release the Refresh key and then the Power button and your Chromebook will restart. If it does not start, press Power again. If your issues persist after this, we recommend reaching out to Lenovo Tech Support for Chromebooks at this number: 800-426-7378. Lenovo

Overall, it's an ok product, but I expected better than what I received. It's lagging at times that it definitely shouldn't be & you can't use a lot of apps on it that you can with a regular laptop etc.
