I give as a birthday gift. My nephew said it was ok. But, system was a little bit slow for the amount of school work that he had to do for class. I will more likely have to get my nephew a new faster laptop. Best Buy has a large section of laptops.

Great chrome book bought during black friday sale

I like it, let's get that out of the way. I've always used windows pcs with higher end (gaming grade) hardware, so this was a bit of a gamble for me. I wanted something that would be compact, have a long great battery life, and be relatively low maintenance. This is it. So what's so great about it. It's a chromebook, so it's completely integrated with google's ecosystem. That fact will determine a lot in terms of how useful this will be for you. I'm deep into google at this point and rely on gmail, docs, and calendar on a daily basis. Everything runs very smoothly on this chromebook, setup was painless, and it even walks you through linking your phone so you can send and receive sms right in the app. Very nice. The build quality is very nice. The fit and finish feel very premium here, but that also means it feels pretty heavy for what it is. I was kind of surprised at just how chonky this thing feels. Perhaps it was necessary in order to make that hinge durable but I don't know. That's kind of a negative for me. The screen quality is great as well, tho the brightness isn't the best. Another slight disappointment. The speakers ... look it has built in speakers, but they're pretty terrible. My phone speakers are offer better definition and channel separation so make of that what you will. The hinge is also a little on the sticky side, it takes two hands to open which is weird considering the weight. Sounds like a lot of bad right? So what is there to love? Well overall just using the thing feels good. It powers on virtually instantly which I love since I'm super impatient. The keyboard is fantastic for a computer this small. I have normalish sized hands for a grown man but using this felt completely comfortable for me. I also appreciate the dedicated keys for changing system settings and even opening some apps. The fact that this is a touchscreen device is nice as well. There are times when swiping around with a touchpad is more cumbersome than just touching the screen. Oh and the touchpad? Excellent. Inputs are responsive and precise. The screen itself is also excellent. It has a glossy finish which I strongly prefer, but this does mean that reflections can be a problem especially in a well lit room (classrooms/offices) or outdoors. With the limited brightness this will definitely be an issue for some people but for me it's not (I'm an indoor kid at heart and I prefer the shade). Worth noting tho. I love the inclusion of USB and micro sd, but I could always do with more IO. Using this with a usb mouse works perfectly, as does the handful of external drives I've plugged into it. Bluetooth is completely solid so if you don't like the (terrible) speakers no worries there. I also think the webcam quality is fantastic on this thing. Ran a few different hangout video chats to check it out and I was blown away at how good it is. There's also a built in camera cover which is a nice touch. I hate devices that are always pointing a camera at your face and really appreciate this little feature. Thoughtful The built in mics are pretty good at picking up and isolating your voice, but of course a dedicated headset will always be better for this. The one thing I can't really comment on is using this as a "2 in 1". This is a product segment that I've never fully understood. The extra weight this thing packs makes the idea of using it as a tablet just laughable to me. I can imagine situations in which this feature is useful, but it's not for me. So far the main thing that 180 hinge has done is allow the chromebook to stand upright, which is more than enough for me. Overall I love this little machine. It's a little pricey considering it's flaws - bad speakers, screen on the dimmer side, heavy for its size, takes 2 hands to open - but I'd still recommend it. The overall experience of using this chromebook is just so good, lenovo really did a great job here.

This is just your basic Chromebook. It's fine to use for the Internet (which is why we got it) but it runs pretty slow and the Internet pages tend to freeze up. We got it on sale for Black Friday so we didn't pay much which I'm glad about.

The laptop is good but faced OS issue 2 times in last 1 month. The laptop suddenly stopped working and told to do a factory reset. First time I was able to but not 2nd time. Since it was within return period I got a replacement.

Worked OK for about one year. Now it repeatedly drops from our internet making it unusable. Also the cover self-destructed.

There are two problems with this machine. The first is the screen. Lenovo loves to cut corners when it comes to screens. The second is performance. The processor just is too slow.

Do not like the screen. I bought this chromebook while it was on sale. The only thing I don't like is the screen. The refresh rate is terrible and hurts my eyes after a while.

This Chrome Book is a good computer but dosent offer compatible to a lot if the apps from google play store. If its a chrome book it should have access to all apps just like your cell phone
