I miss the backlit keyboard of my last Chromebook, but given the screen size, and the online price of $429, I just said "yes." Sometimes your feet take you to the best bargain you'll find. The only better option for a large screen size would have been to get a smart TV and connect to my phone by HDMI cable. But then, I wouldn't have a keyboard with a separate numerical pad. I had to adjust to the skewing of the qwerty board to the left--my right hand kept landing one key to the right of where it always lands on a normal laptop keypad, but the price, the price. The movie-watching experience for four people drastically improved over watching on a 13" screen. The keyboard spacing is about the same as a standard desktop keyboard, but it still felt slightly awkward. The homing tabs on the F and J keys are much more subtle and keys are larger and have no cupping than those for my desktop. Just something to live with.
