However, it fits my need of a second laptop I can use when I'm traveling and just want to check emails or write up a quick document etc. Also makes a nice laptop for my volunteer work where I just need to take meeting notes.

tippy and shift key in bad place

I don't use it as a tablet.. THE BIGGEST problem (and it is a real problem) is that the right side shift key is a farther reach than normal for a 10 finger typist...and I CONSTANTLY hit the UP arrow. REALLY frustrating and time consuming. I ahve been trying to retrain myself - but as I use other keyboards, this laptop does not get enough constant retraining for habitualization. ALSO - didn't realize it didn't have a number pad. due to the size, this is understandable...but would like to have CONSIDERED this before purchase. summary: RIGHT SHIFT KEY: big problem if you are a fast two handed 10 finger typist (who doesn't look at keys).

Posted .With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.
Good 2-in-1 for the price.

The tablet mode is great and the laptop has come in handy too. Only problem is connecting to blue tooth devices, it recognizes some but not the ones I really. Want.

Lenova Laptop

She has been able to use it in both her high school and college classes. There does seem to be one problem but I think the problem is with Windows 10, not with the Lenova laptop.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Flex 4-11. If we can be of any help with issues your daughter is having, you can ask specific questions here or call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Finally, this system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the right side of the device, right near the power plug port on the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files.

The laptop has the most current operating system, yes there was a bit of a learning curve, but all said and done it was the perfect fit for the situation.

We did have a bit of trouble connecting to internet but figured it out without having to call Lenovo. My daughter likes the tablet mode to watch TV.
