The battery lasts a long time. You can fold it over and use it like a tablet when you're on an airplane. The 500 GB hard drive is a little small. I replaced it with a 2 TB drive.

It just does the job, though a little slow, so you just have to do one thing at a time.Battery is great. Flipping to tablet is nice, handy and very practical, despite it might be too bulky for a tablet. Touch screen works fine.

I like my work-assigned Lenovo so I thought I'd give this one a try. What a mistake. My Windows 95 desktop from 20 years ago had better performance than this. To call this laptop glacial would be an insult to glaciers. Slow, slow, slow internet. Opening one photo can take minutes. Yes, minutes. We basically flushed over $300 down the drain.

Posted .It sounds like old software/programs have been installed on this device that are not compatible with Windows 10. This will slow the system down and may eventually crash the operating system. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

I mainly check email, facebook and wanted to be able to do some word processing. I appreciated the help that the sales people gave, even though they were short staffed and trying to help several people at the same time. I wish some one would have asked if I wanted everything transferred over from my old computer. I will have to find someone that will do that for me now.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Flex 4-14. With regard to having your files transferred from your old system to this new one, the Best Buy Geek Squad can still do this for you. Just check with them for an appointment so you won't need to leave your computers there any longer than necessary and ask about the cost for this service. You will need to install your programs on to the new machine as well. First check to be sure the program versions you have are compatible with Windows 10. Great laptop and features EXCEPT SCREEN
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Literally the only problem this unit is when i put it in tent mode to watch movies and the screen is so cheap that colors looked distorted because its too cheap of a screen. Looking at other laptop screens with 2 in 1 form and in tent mode was not as bad as this in HP products with same or similar processor but i realized if they put a decent screen on it i would not have returned it for a full refund. If you dont care about tent mode then i recommend getting this one. Otherwise if like myself and want tent mode, then get something else.
