It turns out it does everything he needs it to do. Seems to stay charged a long time. So far happy with the purchase.

Nice for money but not like $600 laptop

It has 4 GB ram, middle tier cpu, and is a touchscreen. The only really negative is the fact that the touchscreen isn't the same quality as maybe a $600 screen and you notice it but for $399 you get a good build quality that from the outside looks better than a budget laptop. Overall a good by for $399 or less.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.well built, nice keyboard good feed back screen is nice not too bright a bit heavy to hold in tablet mode for more than 15 minutes at the time. good battery time for this size clocked 5hrs with movies about 4.5hrs (3 movies) speed ok.multitasking depends in content and no more than 3 windows. like I said BASIC.

Great Notebook

Limited ad pop up was packaged with windows 10 program maybe because i used custom install. Power connection has potential for trouble in the future; My only real issue is that the screen dims considerably when not plugged in and useless outside. Overall great product for the money.

Type "screen brightness" in the search window that opens when you click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your screen. Select "Display Settings" from the list of choices. Adjust screen brightness in the window that opens. Additionally, , try changing your power management setting to one that does not dim your screen automatically. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system.

Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:
