I did a lot of research for a 2-in-1 that had a larger screen and a decent price for a college student. It's not particularly light, but I enjoy the versatility of it nonetheless! I was looking for something with the performance to replace my old laptop (also a Lenovo). I use it mainly for school work and occasional personal design projects. It's good for watching shows although the screen is super glossy so I have to place it in the right lighting. I'm not a fan of Windows 10 but I've become accustomed to it. All in all it is a great and trustworthy Lenovo, just as I hoped!

Awesome laptop

It is perfect for me and I really just surf the web and on occasion will watch a movie or two. I love that it is so versatile with the tablet mode. I would absolutely purchase this laptop if you are in the market for a small laptop. I researched this for days and did alot of comparisons with other brands and I always leaned towards this one and I am so happy I did. I have been a loyal HP owner and for me to change brands is huge. I would recommend this product.

With regard to the battery life, if you want to extend the battery life, check your power management settings in the control panel. Try one of the energy management settings that conserves the battery and you can extend the battery life.

I upgraded memory to 8 gb and it is very fast. Must disable the built-in touchpad when using a usb mouse as the pointer becomes unstable in the extreme. Haven't used tablet mode yet but I have no doubt it will be fine when I need it. For now I use an external Vizio TV for a monitor at my desk and all is well.

In other words, it's over sensitive to any movement or touch on my part. I do intend to ask the GeekSquad if maybe there's a setting I can change. Other than that, I preally do like the computer. It's slim, light & elegant. SO far can give it a thumbs up!

Just type "touchpad" in the search window that appears when you click on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop screen. Then select "mouse and touchpad settings" and adjust the touchpad to your liking.
