Great Low Budget Laptop

Perfect for simple things like apps, streaming video, word processing, and all the basics it's intended to do. No issues with it at all.

Posted .This system should provide adequate speed with its Intel Pentium processor and 4GB of RAM. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

This unit feels solid, had all features I expected and performed well (basic tasks i.e. Web, email, Word, PowerPoint. Not a gaming PC)

There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

However, so far I love it! Awesome deal, and it doesn't feel like a budget laptop. It isn't thick, heavy or bulky. Sleek, light and fast. ❤️

Good, but unreliable

I do have antivirus, latest update, nothing save on computer just two or three word documets, and no external software installed other than microsost suite. Also the trackpad gets stock with the rigth click. I think is a 3 starts because it allow me to do everyrhing I want.

A great budget laptop

Never lagged, but then again, i didnt push it to the limit. You do have to download updates to get everythingrunning smooth. I ended up returning it to get a better laptop.

With regard to Microsoft Office, there is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows 10 operating system. In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software. You can purchase this product key online at www.bestbuy.com.
