Posted .This system is an entry level system meant for light use, with its Intel Pentium processor and 4GB of RAM. If the system is running slow, close multiple open windows/programs running at the same time. This device should not need to update constantly. Be sure the updates are complete before you shutdown the system.

I’d get up in the morning, restart the computer, take a shower, then return to the laptop to see if it was booted up yet. I’d say about 50% of the time it was. I’d never buy another Lenovo.

It just crashed and would not charge anymore. One month after my Geek squad warranty ran out. So I paid $150.00 to have the charging port replaced only to find out the motherboard needs to be replaced and that would cost another $200 I just junked it! So now I won't buy anything over $150 since they are replaceable.

Posted .It sounds like you have conflicting software on your device. It should not be rebooting. You may need to uninstall/reinstall Chrome. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Flex 4-14. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.
