Posted .Sounds like the video driver needs to be updated. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

I finally shut it down and tried again and it connected but then nothing would load it would just set there trying to load. So I left the room for a while and came back it was still trying to load. I rebooted it and used the reset, but I never got it to consistently work. I tried my other computers and they all loaded web pages without any problems. I'm not a novice on computers I have several plus an ipad and a couple off brand tablets but I was wanting to purchase a 2 in 1 for my granddaughter. I gave up after three times trying to get the Lenova flex 4 to work and took it back. I don't want a laptop that's not consistent. If your going to spend money on it then it needs to work consistently. Lenova is not for me and I wouldn't buy another one, I don't have the time to troubleshoot a new computer that should work.

Posted .This system should not lock up. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

I found this model to be lacking in performance and speed for basic use. It worked but not anywhere near what I am used to. I returned it because I wanted to upgrade.
