Lenovo Warranty Is A Sham

I purchased a new Lenovo laptop from BestBuy 1 year ago. There was an issue with the NIC card - randomly dropping the Wi-Fi connection. I did diagnostics and sent the laptop in for repair with detail on the NIC card failures. The "service" organization ignored my information, avoided replacement of the NIC card (which is an inexpensive part) and sent it back after "adjusting software settings". The problem was not solved and got worse, with the system finally becoming "bricked". I sent the bricked device back to Lenovo "service" under warranty repair for a second time. The "service" organization sent it back after "reseating a cable". It is now out of warranty and the problem was never fixed. TOTAL GARBAGE "SERVICE" As an added insult, they boxed the PC without even powering it off. It arrived powered up and hot "NICE SERVICE LENOVO" . Next PC will be an HP. NO MORE LENOVO ABUSE FOR ME Date of experience: June 23, 2025

The worst laptop I have ever owned.

I now understand. purchased this laptop for the size and price to use with automotive scan tool software. Upon my third use this laptop died, 8 days after the return period. I used the laptop for a total of about 2.5 hours and it ceased all functions other than turning the backlights on and off when you try to power it up. I paid someone to trouble shoot this and was told the motherboard overheated. I basically have an expensive paperweight that I had to take apart to get the important scan data transferred from the hard drive. Buy any other laptop, stay away from this one.

Nice laptop overall but not very bright

Sadly, i will be returning it because it is not very bright. The highest brightness is not very bright. Also, the glare on the screen is awful. No matter what i tried, it was like staring at a mirror.

First, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button and apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on screen pop-up windows and instructions to finalize the installation process of all available updates.
If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet the issue persists, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem. We recommend contacting Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, for further assistance.
