I would recommend this to a friendDecent laptop but out of patience with MS Windows.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The harware is fine. It replaced an older Lenovo W10 laptop that bricked after a Windows update. This W11 sytem required alot of work to get it to run my apps that worked well under W10. Not the fault of the hardware but next iteration might migrate to Apple.

Great laptop!

She would give the computer a 4.5 beause the computer was in an "S" mode and she was not able to add other apps until 24 hrs. after set up. She was frustrated at fist. Other than that it is a great computer.

To start, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, applying all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, applying all available updates here as well.
If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet the issue persists, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem. We recommend contacting Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, for further assistance.

Not Quite Enough Memory for College-level Research

Simply awful

Computer started having issues immediately after purchase - trackpad would randomly stop working, etc. Now, the built-in camera has completely stopped working just 4 months after purchase, and I have to send it in for repair. Really regret buying this laptop.
