To start, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button and ensure are all updates are applied completely.

Think before buying refurbished

About 1.5 months after use (work) the computer screen went black and unresponsive. Seeing as how I just purchased this year, it's frustrating due to the fact that I have to now pay for it to get fixed, since I need a computer for work.

(If your version of Windows 11 is no longer is no longer in S mode) Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button. Camera isn’t the best

Screen issue

I really can’t stand this thing

I tend to hold onto them like a good pair of jeans, wearing them often and for years until they’re so worn out they can no longer be saved. This laptop will not be one of those. I can’t stand it. It is more temperamental than a spoiled toddler low on sleep. I almost never use it now (only a year later) and wish I’d never bought it. It’s about to find itself in the trash (so to speak).

I'll never buy another Lenovo product.

Constantly shutting down even after adjusting power settings, driver updates. Windows 11 is also garbage. Purchasing this product has ensured I'll never purchase another Lenovo product.

The screen would randomly black out, it froze for over 5 minutes and didn’t unfreeze until it was restarted, and the touchscreen only worked about 50% of the time. This was all within the first couple of hours of having the laptop, it was also bought brand new. We returned it two days later. Definitely don’t recommend.

Laptop works but bestbuy tried to pricegouge

But my review relates to bestbuy service. I originally placed an order for this item at a given price for excellent condition (approx 400$). Delivery status changed to label created and then did not change for one week. When i reached out to bestbuy, first they said it was lost and would have to cancel and replace the order. However when they did this, now they said order is canceled as item is not available. Online i could see it available at same location with same condition listed but at higher price (200$ more). I indicated this to the customer service representative and after about 15 minutes of arguing they finally said the item was found somehow and shipped it right away. This is a clear case of trying to price gouge the customer by showing for a lower price and then changing on the fly while still holding on to my money. It is unlikely that i will ever buy something from bestbuy again as i have no confidence in them delivering it at the given price

battery life isnt good

Regarding your issue with battery life – there are many variables that contribute to shorter battery life. Thankfully, many of those variables can be adjusted. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

Bad battery life. But pretty good
