While I admit that this is a beast (heavy and large) it's solid, sturdy, extremely performant, and handles everything I've thrown at it. In addition to running standard Chrome OS applications, it runs Android and Linux applications seamlessly, smoothly, and capably. Running applications like LibreOffice shows off its true capabilities.

We were looking for a decent laptop that my mom could use to do things like pay bills and take some online courses. I own a Lenovo Thinkpad and absolutely loved it, but mom didn't need something with so much power. We chose this Ideapad and she absolutely loves it! It's user friendly, the keyboard feels great and my mom loves the that it's touch screen and it runs so smoothly without any sort of delay. We both highly recommend this laptop!

Haven't used much as old one will be coming off updates soon. My impression of the time I spent on it, is a pat on the back as there were many new chromebooks available. Love the look, keypad feel, backlit, faster by far from old model and thats with many open pages .The plus model is just that, won't be worrying about updates ending, anytime soon.

One of the premier best Chromebook Plus in the market now. It's quick, great 14 inch screen, and a nice big track pad. Only thing I wish is if it was a little lighter but it's still portable and the best deal of any laptops, Windows or Apple.

i like the touch screen, it has a good performance and good battery quality life

Overall this laptop is good value for the price as recommended by Wirecutter. I wish the camera could be changed to take pictures from behind the screen, instead of only facing me. The shutter closing the camera lens got stuck after about a year and cannot now be closed. Otherwise, dependable and does everything I need.

Totally satisfied with this Chromebook, easy to use, great battery up time. Replaced a previous Chromebook so startup was a breeze.

This a pretty nice Chromebook. The screen, build quality, and battery life are great. The one dislike I have is the speakers are not very loud.

Purchased for use as homeschool tool. It has proven itself the past year as a very capable machine meeting every challenge thrown at it. Primarily used to write research papers and online schooling.

Great touchscreen laptop that can be flipped around like a tablet. Long battery life, and quick to charge. Only complaint is the touchpad mouse is a little quirky to getting used to for scrolling.

This is my first Chromebook and I really love it! Setting it up was quick and easy. I use it for web surfing and email. I find it easy to navigate. The keys are responsive and I enjoy the touch screen.

I bought this as a gift for my dad's wife and helped her set it up and played around on it for a while. It is by far the best Chromebook I've ever used. I have a Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 and this feels every bit as fast. I know it's running Chrome OS and not Windows but the responsiveness is impressive. Obviously it doesn't feel as premium but still a decent build and the 360 hinge is good. Chrome OS works really well in tablet mode too. Screen is plenty bright and Netflix and YouTube both looked good. Speakers are more than adequate. Keyboard is actually a decent experience as well. I know Chrome OS isn't something everyone has worked on before but if all someone needs is a laptop for web browsing, typing stuff every once in a while, and maybe some videos I really can't recommend this enough. I think Google really nailed it with the new Chromebook Plus line. I would assume any of them are pretty good.

This a very nice chromebook with a great clear screen. I gave it a 5/5 because it is a great chromebook overall but beware that it is somewhat difficult to open due to the small indented area in the middle only about the size of the touch pad. I own the previous model and find this one harder to initially open. Other than that it is a great product and I would definitely purchase again for all of it's other features.

So far so good. The chromebook is running great, fast speeds, can have multiple apps open without losing speed, easy to navigate. Happy i got it.

I needed to upgrade my laptop after my previous one had lived a very crazy life during my job as a special education teacher. Upgrading to this laptop was effortless and simple as soon as I logged into the google chrome system. It seems to have a good battery life and I have had no issue using the video and microphone features for my work or video conferencing. Very happy with my purchase and the lovely people at the Best Buy in Albany, NY for helping me out!
