It is always lagging, the track pad skips frequently, my current issue is with the browser not allowing me to close out of tabs and it continuously freezes I cannot get anything done, sometimes it will shut off and I have to keep pressing the backspace button to get it to turn back on, my printer does not connect with it, you cannot use adobe illustrator with the particular chromebook.

I was unable to access the internet at the University where I volunteer, and the tech staff there told me Chromebooks are notoriously problematic, but they got me on line. Next, the Microsoft-Office Home & Student software I ordered at Best Buy's suggestion downloaded, but will not execute. The Geek agent would courteous, but couldn't help and told me I had to take it in to a Best Buy store.

It will often not turn on (or the screen stays black while the machine appears to be on). It also runs excessively with the fan audible and machine getting very hot. My son was required to purchase this for school and has had the machine taken from him at school due to safety concerns over the heat the machine is putting out. We purchased in September and are now (February) realizing that this is going to be a chronic issue. We will bring this back to Best Buy to see what they can do to assist.

If this doesn't resolve your issue, you may need to factory reset your Chromebook, which you can learn more about towards the bottom of the webpage tied to the previously embedded link. There is a MAJOR design flaw with the screen hinges. They are poorly secured and pop out so the screen does not attach to the compter, making it impossible to close and difficult to adjust to line of sight. I returned the first one, but the replacement did the exact same thing. Absolute junk, cannot recommend.
