Good laptop at a great price. You can't go wrong!!

Tooo slow loading. Use it only for at home office work

Basically a good basic computer-nothing fancy. But mousepad is hard to sue.

Most reviews are mixed. For the price, this computer seems good so far. I am replacing a Samsung that I paid double price of what this computer is. I had it exactly 2 years and had problems starting 6 mos. ago. It finely gave out and I was forced to go buy another laptop. Looking at all laptops for $700 - $1000, I decided not this time. If I get at least 2 years out of this Lenovo, I will give it a 5 star, as it is half the cost, better processor and more memory. On some reviews, one should not give a negative review on something they know nothing about. #1 - factory setting is set to battery saver. This only allows the battery to charge 59 - 60%. This saves the battery (when plugged in most of the time) and can be changed easy. #2 it feels cheap made. What does that matter if it works great! My Samsung was made with quality outer material, but the inside stuff was junk, for as long as it lasted. Over all, I give this a 4 star, since it is new to me and I want to see the lasting performance ability. I so far would highly recommend this to someone that wants a decent laptop for the $.

Have had other laptops that work better when new. Slow at times and has wi-fi lapses during internet usage. Doesn't fit in computer bag used for last laptop that was a 15.6" laptop as well. Much more bulky than anticipated. Not as easily transported so becomes more a desktop than a true laptop.

I needed something for light use. Not used for alot of multitasking

Beautiful display.. Fair speed.. But crashes and gives the blue screen of death every 5-10 minutes...with a large frowny face... Our IT person says it's a bad memory or motherboard but we are in Florida and our office is in Chicago and need it to maintain business ..so are struggling through till we get back home in several weeks... Then we're taking it BACK.

This was a Christmas present for my son and the HDMI port doesn't work, which is important to him. Now we have to find the time to go to the local store to address the problem. I'm sure that they will be helpful when we go. Otherwise I've heard good things about Lenovo laptops.

I like it but I see why Apple is a much better system

I would definitely recommend this laptop for the price. It does everything I need in a laptop. It was a great purchase for my family.

I'm having trouble w/ windows 10 I do not like it. It's not dumie easy even the geek squad did not know how to download a app I needed for my continuing education for nursing. They don't even know what to do.... Grrrrrrr.....!!

I bought this an open box item. The first time I tried to use it the screen kept flashing on and off. After searching on the internet, I saw that these machines have an issue with the cable near the hinge of the laptop. If this item was returned for this issue, it should have either been fixed first or not sold at all as open box item. I was very disappointed in the Geek a Squad on this one. I ended up returning it at my local Best Buy and spending an additional amount of money on a Dell.

I bought this computer to perform the basics, browse the internet, do email, and some word processing. For these tasks, it does well, is fast with Windows 10, and runs cool. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Solid laptop for the price. Does not really "feel or look" expensive by any means, DVD tray is flimsy, keyboard has a lot of flex, mouse pad is bad for scrolling (arrow down works fine) but overall this laptop runs great. Setup was smooth and fast. Does come installed with a lot of bloatware (perks of buying cheap) but that is an easy fix. Movies looked and sounded great (for the price tag), wifi works great, multitasking capabilities have been very good. Laptop is very quiet. I cannot find anything I don't like about this computer so far and anytime I find something that isn't "great " about this computer I just remember the price I paid for it and I'm happy again. Remember, you get what you pay for and this is a great buy, sure it's not top of the line quality, lightning fast and loaded with the best features but it's every bit worth the price! Thanks for recommending Best Buy! I'm a happy customer!

Bought this for our son to go to school with for papers and homework etc. uses it often and hasn't had any issues with it. Would buy again for our other sons when they get a little older.

I ordered this laptop when it was on sale for 299 online, because it was an amazing value. Anybody knows a 8GB RAM laptop with a 1TB hardrive for 299 is a steal. Arrived quickly, however within an hour of setup I noticed my laptop was stuck on 60% and said plugged in not charging, which was a bummer, I got one with a defective battery. Which from reading reviews is common, their battery makers must have churned a bad batch out. However, I just drove to my local bestbuy store and got it exchanged for another one unopened in the box for free, and it only took about 10 minutes to do. No charging issues with this one at all. Even with that, I'm super happy and it was well worth it. No issues with this battery that I can tell and I previously had a HP and I am VERY impressed with lenovos interface, great boot time, fast, doesn't come with bloatware, and runs extremely smoothly. Great for playing sims, and great for school [what I bought it for since I'm a student and my other laptop was on it's deathbed after 5 years of abuse]. Extremely happy with this laptop, especially considering the price. The geeksquad tech even told me as soon as he saw me bring in the other one and he checked the battery out "This was the best preforming laptops for the price we sold during our sells." Of course I knew that ;]

Computer would not charge battery. Went online to several sources to fix, but ultimately had to return. Computer was on clearance, and no others available. Had to select another brand/model.

After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this computer. I use it for personal and school work and it has been excellent!

features and specifications are good but over all performance of the laptop is poor, touch pad performance poor
